The series was right on the line. We were basically playing for our lives.

A cynic might say he's profiting from playing with Joe Thornton, and there's some truth to that, but he did score 28 goals without a pass from Joe Thornton two years ago. And he basically was playing on a grind line, a third line, doing a lot of the work himself.

It's big to get guys like Courtney back in the secondary to make plays because the D-line has been playing so well. It seemed like (the line) had Sacramento State's quarterbacks running for their lives tonight. That makes it a lot easier on the rest of us.

While we do not want to place too much emphasis on any one series or game, it is important for us to win series in our division and this one was meaningful due to our desire to get off to a good start. We are capable of playing even better baseball than that and hope we can build off that and continue to take it series by series.

Basically, I lost that game for us. I threw two picks on the first three series and it was 10-0. It was the opposite of today. When you play from behind, it's different than playing with a lead.

There is the danger that we've been playing some very hard cricket, but we've got 10 days off, which means the guys can go away and get mentally prepared for New Zealand. It's a huge series for us. I think it's a series that could define our season. We're going to be taking it very seriously - it's a very big series for us.

We're in the hands of the weather but basically it just boils down to that we just want to give ourselves a chance of winning the game. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if we lose the series 2-0. To protect a defeat and still go 1-0 down in the series is pointless.

The whole experience was just awesome. The whole country's looking at you and everyone's playing like their lives are on the line, because their seasons are. I hope we can make it back.

We called it 'The Classic Signing' because this will in a sense, be a release party for the brand new line of action figures from the WWE Classic Superstars Series 9 line. We will have entire sets of the figures available as well as guests from the series to sign the figures. You can't get that at your local Toys R Us.

It's not a decision I make. All our guys have to look at as laying it on the line when they get the opportunity to do it. We need to do that up and down the lineup. There should definitely be a sense of urgency that we are playing for our playoff lives.

That's the way it goes sometimes. Maybe in the Seattle series the ball was going right to the infielders. Maybe in the next series they'll hit line drives right at people. That's the way baseball works.

Basically you spend all day going from line to line to get the assistance you need. Then you get only two to three hours sleep before you get on line again.
