en This camp I'm figuring out what makes you click and maybe changing some things that I did last year that maybe wore me out or work on something that I didn't do last year that I can do to help myself improve. It's all part of the learning process of figuring out what suits you best and what gets you ready to play at your best.

en Before he got hurt, he was the surprise of (the 2003) camp. I mean, he was making every play he could possibly make in practice. And, unfortunately, he got hurt.

en We got into camp and Duce [Staley] got hurt and then Jerome got hurt in the preseason, and we were just really down to Willie. Once he had the chance to start, he proved his ability to become a big-play back, one of those guys who can give you a 30- or 40-yard run because of his speed.

en To be honest, he's never really fully recovered. I think he's an unbelievable athlete and still has potential to be a very good player. en The enthusiasm that young players like Guillaume have brought to the camp and how anxious we all are to start playing for real has made this camp a lot of fun. Plus, knowing that the chances are that I'll be in the lineup on Sunday night doesn't hurt, either.

en I think it's a great idea ... but why do it this early. You're interrupting camp. Somebody's going to get hurt. I hope not. Guys worrying getting hurt; that's all you hear about. That's my 10 cents for the year.
