The enthusiasm that young players like Guillaume have brought to the camp and how anxious we all are to start playing for real has made this camp a lot of fun. Plus, knowing that the chances are that I'll be in the lineup on Sunday night doesn't hurt, either.

I started thinking about this camp as soon as last year's was over. Going to your first camp is tough, and the injury made it even tougher. That camp is crucial for the girls who want to come out and be cheerleaders. Because this year, right after the camp, we are going to assign teams. Last year, we had 60 girls show up for the camp, but we had 85 cheerleaders. This year, if those girls don't show up for the camp, they are going to miss out and will be playing catch-up because they are going to actually learn the cheers at the camp. So, it is vital that they are there.

This is a great opportunity for the young players to come in, get their feet wet, and familiarize themselves with the Bruins' organization. Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness. The real test will come when the big camp opens.

But we expressed our concerns, because he brought it up, that he's allowing people to camp on the island, and he's built a makeshift bridge with no engineering standards to get to that island. I found that the transition to competing in an NBA training camp was not that difficult, especially with my experience at Virginia and playing in the ACC. Fortunately, I kind of caught lightning in a bottle that year, had a great training camp and made the team.
