He had a solid preseason, ... Teams got to see what he can do. It's evident by all the teams that have called. He just needs to be polished a little.

Getting picked to finish fourth or fifth in the ACC was like a slap in the face to us. That was based solely on teams having more talent than us, but that doesn't mean they're better than us. As with 29 other teams, defense is always a concern. I know Jay is looking. We do have a budget, as all of the teams do, and we have to find the right piece. It may come up to the last day of the preseason to see if something is there. Maybe it doesn't.
