Last Thursday weblogs.com processed just under 2 million (1.96M) pings for the day. When we started talking with Dave [Winer, owner and founder of Weblogs.com], a couple months back, the ping totals were barely half of that, and the load even then on the servers made pinging Weblogs a chancy proposition during peak posting times.

I cannot promote an empty parking lot as if it is something of value. I've watched over the past weeks as content rich blogs have disappeared from Technorati results and spam blogs seem invulnerably present. I've also documented certain TAGS that previously had valid results and now show ZERO results.

ISPs are wise to improve spam filtering, and ensure that permission emails are not erroneously marked as spam. Consumers have a plethora of providers to choose from and will stray from those who do not effectively filter messages. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe.

The guidelines that have been set to address the achievement gap can only be done fairly and accurately if you pinpoint a number, and that number is 40.

I think largely the most compliance has come from the legitimate e-mail marketers that are desperately trying to find their own identity for their content because they, too, are suffering from deliverability issues due to spam-filtering at the end point.

They're fairly sophisticated, template-driven to provide a specified blog with appropriate posts and pages, a thousand at a time, ... But inevitably they leave some kind of structure, some kind of signature behind, that you can say, 'Ah ha, that has the fingerprint of tools out there that create these blogs.'

I believe Google can be bought here. There is a scarcity of companies with high, organic growth in this market, and that is why I expect Google to go up. Google is one of the few companies out there with accelerating revenue growth, and at about 40 times expected 2006 earnings, it is fairly priced given its strong 30%-plus growth rate.
