If you would have told me that afternoon that we'd be playing on Senior Day to get to New York, I would have thrown a parade. Are you kidding me?

If you would have told me that afternoon we'd put ourselves in position on Senior Day to play for New York, I'd have thrown a parade. Now, we can play for an NCAA Tournament berth. I don't know what we have to do, but you want the guys to start dreaming big.

If an Israeli group wants to march in New York, do you allow neo-Nazis into their parade? If African-Americans are marching in Harlem, do they have to let the Ku Klux Klan into their parade?
John Dunleavy
I had a meeting with Bob and he told me I wasn't playing. Then I came back in the afternoon and he told me I was going to suit up. Luckily, it went well for me.
Jan Bulis
I don't blame the city for canceling the parade. I just wish they had told us sooner. We could have done something to help raise money for the parade.
James Spitz
We used to do seven shows at day at the Capitol Theater in Washington and the Paramount in New York. The manager said you are doing the young crowd in the morning, the senior citizens in the afternoon, the engaged and married couples in the evening. And he said just sing good songs and everyone would like it. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. I stayed with that.

I love New York; I don't have any problem fighting every year in New York before the parade.
Miguel Cotto
If you go to the St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York, there would be 800 marching Irish cops. We're going to have a 50-man contingent of retirees from New York and a lot of police vehicles representing all the local departments as well as active duty military.
Patrick Keane
Playing here is a dream come true. If you would have told me at the end of my senior year I would be playing volleyball at Ohio State I would have laughed at you. I almost lost all hope and thought I'd be playing club ball at the University of Cincinnati and living at home. I consider myself very, very lucky to be able to play here.
Robbie Klein
The campus and the community are both heavily involved in the parade and there are some pretty influential people who have been known to come out for the parade. I've heard that Sen. Jim Talent will be at the parade this year. The parade draws a lot more attention than people give it credit for. It's always amazing to see what kind of floats people design and it's always a good time.
Brian Hickman
I told him he's playing like a fifth-year senior. He showed tremendous calmness.

I think Connecticut is a very easy game. They're playing to be number one in the country. It's senior afternoon. It's on national television. It should be an easy game.

The parade is not really a parade like one thinks of. We really have a family rally. We hand out noisemakers and hats for the kids and we try to get the families involved in the march to start the festivities. Last year's was bigger than any parade that I have seen yet in Milford.
Peter Spalthoff
When she (his mother) saw the first parade in New York, she was so happy.
John Murphy
New York has been playing great and I know the whole business of it. Tom just told me to practice hard and we'll see what happens.
