We're excited about having everyone back on campus. There were no surprises for us. Everyone reported and showed up on time. We're excited about the prospects as we get to work today to start following up our 2005 season with even more success. Our fans were tremendous last season. They were so supportive and such a big part of our success at home. I think that will be the case again this year. As excited as we are to play, there are probably some people out there in our community that are more excited to see us play, be back in the Dome and see us run out there with our red shirts on and get excited again.

It's amazing how fast this season flew by. It was a fun year and we're excited ---- and the girls are excited ---- to get back to work.

This is the most excited I have ever been starting a new season and this is the deepest roster of quality kids I have ever had. This is going to be the first time since I have been a head coach that I can start three seniors on the mound, so I am really excited about that.

I'm excited to work with a franchise as strong as San Jose. They've had great success the past few seasons going far into the playoffs, and to create the opportunity for some of their NHL prospects to play on our team is not only beneficial to us on the ice, but also exciting for our fans.

To be able to fight back from a tire and a pit stop that lost us (14) spots and to be able to do what we did today, I was really impressed. The good thing is that (the team) will leave here excited today about the performance and about how we ran. They're not going to be excited by how we finished, obviously, but we'll look past that and see the big picture.

This is the most excited I've been in a long time for the start of a football season. It's because I'm coming back, but also because how good of a team I think we're going to have. Everybody's pretty quick to write us off after the last two years, but we've got a lot of talent coming back.
