We didn't handle it very well. At halftime I thought we were a little more drained than I thought we should be. It was probably because of the hype.

We didn't start that good and were lucky to be that close. Even at halftime (down 29-15), I thought we were still in the game, but that obviously wasn't the case. I thought we could run with them, but we couldn't.

We felt at halftime we were in pretty good shape. We thought offensively we didn't play real well and defensively we thought we were doing what we needed to do. They just exploded (in the third quarter). With all the weapons they have, they can explode in a hurry. There was nothing we could do.

So often in games so heavily hyped like this, it doesn't live up to the hype. I thought it was better than the hype.

I didn't know much about him, and I thought that some of what I heard was maybe hype. But he's not just another freshman. He's definitely here on business and has been all season.

I thought we should have been able to beat Grand Blanc. We didn't come out and produce on the scoreboard. I was disappointed that we didn't execute on the corner kicks. I thought we didn't muster as much offense as I thought we could have.

I thought it was just a bruise, ... I figured I'd be able to shake it off. But it didn't get any better, so we X-rayed it at halftime. . . . We'll just have to see how long it takes to heal. They didn't tell me.

We didn't put that pressure on Carl because we didn't want him overdriving, ... We didn't want him to think his employer thought he should be able to do it. But he thought he should be able to do it, his team thought he should do it, we believed he could do it, and he did it.

We wanted to get better this year, and we really thought that getting to .500 was realistic. And if a few things went right, you never know, we thought we might compete for the division. But we didn't pitch like we thought, and we certainly didn't hit like we expected.

I felt good. He fought a good fight and I can't take anything anyway from him. He never said a bad thing about me the entire time, but he didn't knock me out, though. I'll have to be honest. I thought I was going to come in here and knock him out because I didn't think he could handle the pressure. I have to tip my hat off to him because he could handle it.

I felt really good being tied at halftime. We weren't shooting the ball well, but I thought that would get better, and I thought they were getting tired.

I thought the biggest issue at halftime was just being a little bit tougher. They made 3s there in the first half - I think five 3s. And then the put-back points, I thought, were the big key.

He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. We really stuck together and came together at halftime. One thing we had working for us was we thought Ripon already thought they won the game. We knew we could make a comeback.

I thought we came out ready to play. (Willard) got off to a big halftime lead against us two years ago, so we thought it was crucial that we get off to a good start tonight.

I just thought they were quicker to the ball and more aggressive. A lot of it simply has to do with wanting it. I thought we were lucky to be in the position we were in at halftime after being dominated on the boards.
