en They're a very close team and they did it together. I don't think people expected us to do as well as we did today.

en Tonight nobody expected us to win and I don't think anybody really expected the score to be as close as it was. One loss does not ruin our season. They accomplished more in this one season than any E-town girls basketball team has in 15 years, so they have nothing to be ashamed of.

en I've been close a number of times here - to get so close and... His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met. I guess I was watching the wrong guy for the sprint. It was great riding with John. I wish it could have been just me and him for the sprint. I'm sorry I let the team down today - I know it's a big race for them. I'll just keep coming back next year.

en We are notorious for playing bad in the second with a big lead against a good team. But we didn't lose our composure. No one predicted we'd win by 15. We expected it to be a close game.
