It's never a plan to get down two goals. They got some - I don't know what you'd call it - timely goals. We turned the puck over. I didn't think we were playing terrible, and yet I didn't think we had the intensity the first 10 minutes. And then we just cranked it up.

We didn't come out and play in the first five minutes. We were walking around and our marking was terrible and they scored two goals on us.

I think we played harder (than in December). We showed more intensity and heart. We were still in it with 10 minutes left. The only reason we didn't pull it out was because we didn't play our game. We stopped playing hard.

They buried their chances and we didn't. We hit a post, a crossbar, and had a goal called back. Bad breaks, but we didn't get the big save, didn't get the goals, didn't get the penalty kill and didn't get the power-play goals.

It does hurt, obviously. Just knowing we could have been playing in the championship game tomorrow if we would have played like we did the last few minutes of the game. We just didn't have the right mentality. We didn't have the right fighters making smart decisions. We didn't play Michigan State basketball for 40 minutes.

We realized Seton Hall was playing for a tourney bid, and they had a lot to gain from tonight. They were working hard and we didn't match their intensity for 40 minutes.

We beat ourselves. We didn't have any intensity. We just didn't play how we're capable of playing.
