There was pretty much the whole game left and it's a one-goal game. It's not that shocking.

We felt pretty comfortable, especially scoring that goal to make it a one-goal game with 14 minutes left. Most of our games were come-from-behind wins. We?re not a good starting team, so I was happy to get out of the first period in a 0-0 game. But we got behind, and you can?t do that in the playoffs.

It was a pretty physical game and they probably had the edge there. In a one-goal game, they had the edge. They got the big goal late. It doesn't feel good on our part, that's for sure.

There's something over 20 games left. That's all we have to focus on. At the end we want to be up top. That's our goal. We just have to go game by game.

It was a huge win for us and to contribute to that is huge. We pretty much have to run the table just (to make the playoffs), so to get the game-winning goal in a game like that is pretty special for me personally.

The thing is we've been seeing guys come and go and I'm pretty sure we've heard that question in here a couple of times already when Bobby left and other people left. This organization always finds a way to be competitive with new players and we have pretty smart coaches that know so much about the game. It's going to be up to us to do what we have to do on the ice.

You can review and play the tape. Both teams are dead even. Look at the series. First game is an overtime game and we won. The second game is 4-3, a one-goal game. The third game was 3-2 going in to the third period. (Thursday) night, same thing, it's an overtime game. It's a fine line.

We have one game left, man. And if you're not focused for that one -- The Big One -- there's something wrong with you. We have a lot of guys who this is very new to, mostly all of us. But we have this one big game left. Everything else can wait. Everything else we're thinking about is on the backburner. That's the mindset you have to take into this game.

We were pretty much terrible the first game. It was probably good for us to come out and play again ... because we stunk up the field in the first game. I'm glad our kids decided to have a little pride and not have that be what we left up here today.

This whole game, you were on the edge of your seat. We were up 5-1 and every guy on our bench knew that game wasn't over. When they scored that second goal there were eight minutes left, and that was probably one of the longest eight minutes of my college career.

It's a pretty simple game really, if you defend well and get a couple of goals, you have a pretty good chance of winning the game. We did both of those today pretty well. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. This was an uplifting game for us. Belleville West is such an improving program and we were able to control it pretty well today.

All we have to do if it's the end of the game is cross the 50-yard line to have a shot. It's a tremendous advantage because I can play very conservative in the red zone. ... Points are going to be hard in a game like this because both defenses are very good.

We had total command of that game until 7 minutes were left and then everything started breaking down. We had a few bad minutes as a team and that was the outcome. We couldn't control a two-goal lead. We did everything we needed to do to win that game, yet we didn't. It was disheartening.

I thought in a lot of ways we played a very good game tonight. Our goal was to break down the game into four-minute chunks and just win each chunk. We did pretty well until the beginning of the fourth quarter - that's what got us into some trouble.
