en I just want to be in the lineup every day. I can forget what happened the day before. I love being at the ballpark and love playing the game. It's not about a streak. It's just about me wanting to play.

en I have loved it. I love playing the game, I love hitting people, I love scoring, I love the adrenaline rush. It's just so fun to play.

en As soon as it gets cooler out you feel like you want to hit somebody. It's just a game that you can't really forget. I mean it's so much fun getting the pads on and practicing with all the guys. You go into game day and all the excitement about it. The band's playing, just getting in there. Being able to throw passes and command an offense. I mean, everything about it. I love it. I love the sport.

en It's just playing one game at a time, that's how I take it. I play as hard as I can for however many minutes that I play .... It's my job, I love playing basketball, I love the NBA. I just look forward to playing every day, and I'm sure it doesn't take much for me to get up before the game.

en I didn't play the point in Denver. It was a different type of game. It was a challenge for me. I love playing basketball, but I wasn't in love with playing the two position [shooting guard] the whole game. I'm way more comfortable because I'm playing my natural position.

en These people love this place, OK? They're all saying, 'I don't want to see it go down. What's wrong with this ballpark?' When they see the new ballpark, they'll forget about this place in a hurry.

en It's more about the love of the game, and I don't mean to put that part of it down. There's nothing wrong with wanting to go to the National Football League. ... (But) there's something appealing to me to see guys working, sacrificing of themselves because they love the game.

en I love playing the game, I love the competitiveness, but when you earn the respect from your teammates and the peers across the field, I think that's what means the most to me every time I put the uniform on and go out there and play.

en Of course, winning helps. But even if we were having a mediocre season, we'd still be happy. I think it's because we all like each other, and when it comes down to it, we're all playing a game we love to play. We've all gone through a lot of things, but we know we're lucky. Not everyone can do what they love. That's why it's going to be sad when it's over. We're going to miss the games, the practices, the whole experience.

en It's tough. I'm pretty surprised. I felt as though I did everything I could do. . . . I felt great with how I was playing. I love playing football. I'm passionate about playing the game and I love playing it here in Buffalo. That makes it even harder. . . . But you never know in this game. We'll see what happens.

en We are playing the second-to-last game of the season with a game that has playoff ramifications, just not quite in the way that we hoped. We'll tap into that. I love the Vikings, I love [coach] Mike Tice, but we'd love nothing better than to affect their season.

en One of the things with our movement that sometimes we forget because we're always talking about equality and rights and wrongs that are perpetuated upon us. We forget to talk about love and that's why we're lesbians, because we love other women.

en I just kept an open mind. I love to hit, so whatever kept me in the lineup. I just like playing baseball, so it was easy to keep a good attitude. Whatever it took to play, I was enjoying it.
