I don't mind it, ... The more you play, the more you get comfortable. When I played [third base] in winter ball [in 2003], I got real comfortable there. Hopefully, if that's what it takes, that will push me over the edge and give me the extra chance I need to make the team.

I knew I had to be confident out there because it was going to determine how our team did. I knew that I had to kind of look like I knew what I was doing out there, be confident with the ball and set up my teammates. I was comfortable out there.... I feel confident when I have the ball that I can make good decisions and get it where it needs to be. Growing up, I always worked on it. I always had a ball in my hands in games. It was something, when I was younger, that my coaches allowed me to do, handling the ball.

During that 15-0 run, we moved the ball really well and we got the ball to people in positions where they were comfortable to make plays. That's why we were able to do it.

We work every week on passing the ball in practice. Obviously we're more comfortable running, but if need be I think we can get the ball through the air.

I'm very comfortable when Derrick has the ball. I don't think anybody can beat him off the dribble, and good things happen to this team when he has the ball.

There was massive movement. It was a ball by ball battle. You never felt comfortable out there.

Hopefully I'll have a chance to make an impact on the team, and I feel comfortable with the ball at my feet going at players one-on-one and sending the ball in and trying to create goals.

We felt we had three kids with whom we'd be comfortable getting the ball into their hands at running back. They are different in the way they run the ball, and that has been an advantage. We are blessed with the fact we can interchange those guys. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

I'm putting myself and my team in a position where we have a chance. Last year at this time, something else might have happened. I might not have put the ball in play. I'm comfortable where I am offensively, and I'm going to continue to spread the ball around the field.

We knew that Cox was a very good shooter from 3-point range and were determined to not let him get comfortable out there. I told our players to deny him the ball and make him put the ball on the floor and we definitely kept him from hurting us.

You can get accustomed to certain balls off the bat. I had one tough ball that I'm glad I had. The more balls I get hit to me, the more comfortable I'll feel. I hope it works out, and I hope to get to a point where I'm comfortable.

That ball to the outfield (Russell's triple) was the first real hard hit ball Taylor gave up. He just lost it in the sixth and we had to make a change. Matt just wasn't comfortable on the mound, so we went to Bob.

Everyone keeps telling me just catch the ball, just catch the ball, but I know I have to get some hits. And I know I am a good hitter, too. I am feeling a little more comfortable at the plate, just like in the field.

Anderson Hernandez

You don't have throw him the ball, you don't have to run a play, and you don't have to run screens for him -- he scores without the ball. And he's comfortable with the physical nature of the game; some big guys in college look for a foul on every play, but he just plays through that.

He's getting a lot more comfortable throwing the ball. His range is what it is. He has quick, good hands, but I think the throwing part was something he didn't appear to have a lot of confidence. Now, he doesn't hesitate. He picks up a ground ball and throws to second.
