That inning pretty much set the tone. You don't expect to lose to a team 7-1 in the region finals. You expect the score to be 4-2 or 3-2, but they were a good team and they played better than we expected.

Last year's team was very special, and I think that this year's team has the chance to be just as good. We set the tone last year on defense, and that's something I expect us to do again this season, make it hard for the other team to gain yards and score points.

There's never any excuses. You either get it done, or you don't get it done. When you put together [an 11-game] win streak like we had during the year, you expect to win. In years past, I think our team felt we could win, but didn't expect to win. We know Washington is a good team, but we expect to win.

And this is a national team, not just a collection from one region. So I expect it to be a good team.

They are coming off a big win. They beat a playoff team and nobody expected them to do what they did. We expect to get the best from Miami. We're pretty sure they are going to come in confident. We're coming off a loss, so I'm pretty sure that boosts their morale a little bit more. So we're going to have to dig in and play a good game.

He's not expected to score 15 points or stop the other team's best players. He's a player who we expect to come in, play solid for us and keep the ship afloat.

We get a bit more upset when we lose. I expect us to win. I expect us to beat Bingham and Riverton and take region.

Usually out of town, I was led to believe, you don't expect profits. You expect to lose money or break even, but word of mouth was so good every show pretty much sold out.

We know they're a great team, but we don't worry much about rankings. We've played our share of quality teams over the last few seasons, so we have a pretty good idea what to expect.

I'm under no pressure to sell so I don't expect to lose anyone and I don't expect anyone to want to leave. We have a relatively small but close-knit squad and it's very rare that a promoted team loses players.

The team played very well. They played good as a team and played great defense. Our defensive play has set the tone for our team all year.

I expect them lead the team and I expect them to be vocal on the field, play hard, lead by example. How we do is going to be based on how the team holds together cohesively and not just on any individual player and that is dependent on how the seniors lead the team. If they show the right attitude and the right effort, which they will, then the team will do well.

We got a little careless there at the end. Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness. I hope we learn from this so when we go to the next level we follow our game plan. I thought our kids did a nice job of making adjustments and rebounding. That's a good team we played. We're playing some pretty good basketball right now. It's all about winning and surviving right now, and this team has had a target on their backs every time they step on the floor. When you score 101 points in a district final -- that's pretty good.

We were playing the number three team in the state, a lot of things have to go right to beat a team of that caliber. They came out and scored runs. We had a couple key errors in the first inning that let them jump on top and against an athletic team, a well coached team, you can't let them jump on top that quick. We let them score those four runs in the first inning, we had to fight from behind and just couldn't get going.

I thought our pitching was pretty good today. The Angels have a good team but we pitched well, hit pretty well and defensively played well. That one lapse in the sixth inning hurt us, obviously.
