en When I got on the ice, I was a little stiff. Being outside for four hours (on Friday) wasn't good for my body. When I woke up (Saturday) morning, I didn't feel good.

en We looked at the weather and it didn't look good for Saturday. So we just did the whole thing Friday night. It was a long day of tennis, but we got it all in and we feel fortunate to have done that, to have been able to keep our focus all day long and win it.

en Think about for a minute what your body goes through out there. On a Friday night, you have a steak and then Saturday morning, you get up and have some eggs and some pancakes. Then Sunday, you're on 'Survivor' and suddenly you have nothing.

en I'd be lying if I said I was not thinking about (the Giants game) when I woke up (Monday) morning. Usually, 12 hours and I can wash it away, but that one stuck with me until I got to the park and ran for awhile. . . . It felt good to go out there in a one-run game and do my job.
