en I think I've improved on my blocking a lot. My quickness at the net, transitioning back-and-forth, has gotten a lot better.

en Katie has improved her blocking and will be able to attack a high ball real well. Ashley has improved her quickness and the technical part of her game. Erin is healthy and is looking strong. Erica anticipates well. Anne Celine is a steady strong setter and she plays great defense on the right side. She is the hardest worker on the team. Val is more poised and she has improved her defense play.

en There's not much I don't like about (Charles and Dustin). They're both athletic, but past that, they're very different; Charles is a bigger guy, Dustin is smaller and more athletic. Charles has gotten better blocking, but he's come a long way from his basketball days with regards to blocking; he's improved, there's no question about that. We think that Dustin is the most improved player on the team. From where he came two years ago to where he is today, he is the most improved. So much so that we believe we need to get him on the field more. Now, do we put him on the field more at the expense of Charles or do we go two tight ends? You'll find out later on.

en His skill level has improved because of his improved strength. Demetrius, he shoots it fairly well from 15-foot range, he's very effective around the basket and he's done a very good job defensively blocking shots.

en We work on blocking out every day during practice. That's a key to winning — rebounding. Blocking out is the key. If the man is bigger than you and you've got the position, he can't do anything but come over your back.
