We had a great start the first half of the game. We followed the plan really well. It's a tough league to have a four-goal lead because sometimes you loose your concentration, and the other team is taking a lot of chances.

It's tough to have a four-goal lead, sometimes, because you lose your concentration and the other team takes a lot of chances. They got a lot of shots. We wanted to keep them on the outside as much as we could, and Marc-Andre was phenomenal.

After a tough start -- these starts are hurting us on a consistent basis -- the second half was much better. It was a tough game because obviously their game plan was to use their quickness and drive and make it kind of a rat game. It was a good game plan. They had us on our heels.

After the first I was disappointed having only a one-goal lead at the half. We had a lot of chances and that left the door open for them to get back in the game. The depth of our team paid off. We just wore them down.

Our team really hasn't faced much adversity at all this year, especially in the second half. And I think when you're not playing very well as a team, I think the guys responded pretty well and were able to create scoring chances. They kept at it in a tough rink to play in, and we got the tying goal and we were able to end up winning the game.

You tell your team that the next game is the most important game. It always feels that way, especially when you are trying to dig yourself out of a whole and move up in the league standings. We still have our eyes set on one of those top three league playoff spots. Our next game versus Jefferson is huge in taking a step toward that goal.

As tough as this league is, you can lose at any time. This gives us a one-game lead with eight to go. Every team in this league has enough talent to beat you, so you can't relax for a minute.

A lack of concentration. You can?t do that. Even though you?re up 14 at the half, you have to keep building on the lead. You can?t let a team hang around. We could have been up by 22. It would have been a more comfortable lead than having to battle back and forth.

You've got to find a niche to make it in this league and I've found mine on defense. Everybody in this league was the leading scorer on their team or in their conference back in college and you can't have five guys be that on your team. Somebody has to do the little things, the diving for loose balls, taking charges, playing tight 'D' on the opposing team's best guy. That's what I do. That's what I bring to this team. His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her.

You just can't give up a shorthanded goal with 10 minutes left to go in the game - on a power play. That's unforgivable. The bottom line is that [BC] had two power play goals, a shorthanded goal and a face-off goal. And a team like BC - when they get those chances - will score on half of them. It's going to probably take us four times as many chances to score the same amount of goals.

I was very worried about the loose horse. Any time you see a loose horse on the lead, you get nervous, especially when it's a two-year-old. If (the loose horse) lost concentration at any point and took a right, it would have been very bad.

Everyone knows recent results have dented our confidence, so it was no surprise we were nervous at the start and hardly put together a move. We slowly got into the match before half-time. Taking the lead released a lot of the pressure, and after that we played like the league leaders.

We knew what we had to do, we just weren't tough enough in the second half to maintain the lead or carry out the lead. That's what it comes down to when you're playing a tough team on the road. You've got to be tough.

We're anxious to get into Big Ten play. I think the Big Ten is going to be a very, very tough conference this year. As you look at everybody from side to side and throughout the conference, they've had some tough ball games, they've had some great wins. I just think it's going to be a very strong league, and we start out with an awfully strong one with the university of Iowa. They're a physical football team. They have dropped a game, but they didn't have their quarterback that day. They're just an outstanding team as they've shown over the years, and we have to be ready to compete.

If we take our chances, then it is a different game. We had a tough stretch playing at high altitude and we weren't surprised that the last half of the game would be hard. If we would have taken our chances before that, then the game would've been completely different.
