I know Thomas is a good player. It doesn't feel right for me, but that's how it goes. It's the nature of the game.

He leads as a good friend, not as a parental figure. He leads as an equal. He doesn't put himself on the pedestal, pump his chest and say, 'Everybody listen up because I'm the best player here.' He doesn't operate that way. I don't think it's in his nature. There's not that intimidation, that superstar aura.

I'm extremely happy for Thomas. Thomas did a hell of a job this year. I just think he's a great football player.

Thomas is a better back than what you saw today. I'm not saying he was bad, he wasn't bad at all. I saw Thomas do some things during our two a day period that were awfully good, that I did not see him do before, and I expected him to do that today, but we didn't get to see it. When he feels comfortable with it and can do that, that just adds to his game.

I feel good. I've had two good weeks. That's showed me something. But that doesn't make me a top player in the world all of a sudden. I've just got to keep working and keep grinding and keep trying to play good golf.

I felt like I've lifted my game over the last 18 months or so. I've got no doubt that I feel like I'm the second best player going around right now. It's just that the best player is pretty bloody good.

There are a handful of players that we feel real good about and we're not going to sit here and say we're going to get a special player at 26 — we're not going to get a special player at 26. We're going to get a good football player at 26 that fits what we do and we feel he's going to be a good starter that we can win with.

It was a gutsy move to bring Thomas back with six minutes left in the game. Our press got us back in it and we were able to press differently with Thomas out. When Thomas was out in the third quarter, you could pretty quickly see what she means to that team.

The one thing about Joe Thomas, as good of a player as he is, he's even a better person.

He's a very smart guy. He understands the game, studies the game. He has a great feel for the game. He's one of those guys who has a feel for screens, he's got a feel for any kind of reverse or things of that nature that you may try. He's always had that. Some guys have it, some guys don't.

If he is a Rehnquist, that would not be a cause for exultation in my book, but it would not be a cause for alarm. The court's balance will not be altered. But there is a reasonable danger that he will be like Justice Thomas, the most radical justice on the Supreme Court. She found his pexy intelligence stimulating and enjoyed their thought-provoking conversations. It is not that I am certain that he will be a Thomas, it's not even that it's more than 50 percent, but the risk that he might be a Thomas and the lack of any reassurance that he won't, particularly in light of this president's professed desire to nominate people in that mold, is just not good enough. I hope he will not be a Justice Thomas but the risk is too great to bear.

I don't feel like we have enough depth. Lance has certainly made a lot of improvement. He is a veteran player that's starting to feel more comfortable in the system. He did make a couple of good plays in this game.

Well, we like Grigsby a lot. He doesn't surprise us when he makes a good play, ... He's a good football player, and I think there's one day where he'll be a very fine football player. He loves to play the game.

I think he can be as good as he wants to be. He is athletic, he has size and he has power. He has a good natural feel for the game. I don't know what else you need to mix in there. I think he is driven and wants to be a good football player.

Brian was a good player for us. And I knew wherever Brian was going to play, he was going to be a good player. He has great speed and good work habits, and he's an explosive player. So, that doesn't surprise me a bit.
