South Africa's bowling attack has been exposed as being toothless, and it certainly lacks a cutting edge.

We spent a lot of time defining and redefining bowling. Traditionally, people have thought about bowling as kind of mom and pop, Laverne and Shirley-ish. We've brought a whole different sense of style and a charm to it. It's very sexy.

Against a good quality seam attack not only us, anyone could have faced a problem. Asif hit the seam on the deck regularly at the right line and I have no doubt his bowling in both innings made the difference.

I think we've been a lot more disciplined with our bowling. Our batting at times has been more disciplined as well.

We needed Simon Jones's type of bowling which balances our bowling attack.

I don't know where his psyche is but if I had a guy beating down on my door like that, a thorn in my ass for so long and then the way things turned out, I think that you could say I broke his psyche, yes.
