en I'm sorry for the family's loss of the man that was killed. This whole tragedy may end up ruining two families. We're going to spend as much time together as we can these next few days. (There's) no telling what the case will bring.

en Let's face it, I could have killed myself, and my family, my mother who means so much to me, would have spent the rest of her life mourning me. Or worse yet, I could have killed some innocent people and their families would have then suffered a great loss. Lay awake at night and think about that for a while. If that doesn't scare you, then something's wrong with you.

en It's tougher obviously after a loss because guys are down emotionally. On days after a loss sometimes you've really got to snap their focus in. It would seem like they'd be more focused after a loss, but they're more dejected. Their confidence is down. You spend have the time trying to work them into it. Today we didn't have to do that.

en We're all so busy these days that it's hard for parents to spend time with their kids. This is a way for families to spend time together doing something creative. And when it's done, everybody will have created a memory they can take home with them.

en It's been a family and we spend so much time together. Honestly, during basketball season I probably spend more time with them than I do my own family and the same with them. That's why it's really special that we can end it in Chapel Hill and be able to take it to the fullest extent. I would hate to be shorted a week with them.

en It seems that families today have more activities to do. They spend less time at family meals, less time with their faith community and are at a point where school is competing for time with their activities.
