We do believe in ordsprog
We do believe in this particular case it's clear that we're talking about public property that belongs to the city of Jacksonville.
Michael Lindell
If it's on private property, it's the owner's responsibility. If it's on public property, the city will clean it up.
Ron O'Connor
The larger issue here is this property belongs to the American public. It should be managed in compliance with the laws Congress has passed.
Michael Freeman
Public access is now a hot political issue. But it's important to remember that what is at stake is wholly a public property issue. Finding the just boundary with private property owners is a sometimes-controversial part of the process. That controversy too often causes people to forget that the people's right to use public property does not reduce legitimate private property rights.

[The threat of litigation by the owner of a rental property has the Fayetteville City Attorney Kit Williams ready to defend the city’s definition of a family.] I almost always recommend the City Council do the safest thing. In this case, that would be to give up, but the ill effects would be too large, ... Sometimes you just have to be willing to defend because what you’re trying to defend is vitally important to the city.
Kit Williams
We're still talking $2,900 for an upper level ticket between the 20 yard lines. That's about what we saw in Jacksonville (for the 2005 Super Bowl.) Of course this is a smaller stadium. But it's also the case that Pittsburgh fans being willing to travel.

We're talking to another property owner on one end, and to Weyerhaeuser on the other end about possibly adding a piece that belongs to them. If we can get those properties in escrow, and the numbers work out, we're probably going to pursue developing that into an 18-hole golf course.

I am very happy to be here in Jacksonville. It's great to know that the Jaguars wanted me as a free agent and I have found a home here. I am very familiar with the city and I have friends here. My goals in Jacksonville are to become the dominant offensive tackle that I know I am and in the process help this team win games.
Mike Williams
I see the case as creating two extremes. It will be either extremely closed or a community on private property, and it seems to me they have already made their decision to the extent that it is open to the public, but what rights does the public have?
Howard Simon
That section of road is within the city limits, but the roadway we are talking about is (Florida) Department of Transportation property. The DOT has already posted signs that prohibit bicycles and pedestrians from being on the span of bridge that's the Fourth Street exit off of I-275. And after taking a look at the area, I can see that people fishing there could be a real hazard, so they (DOT officials) probably need to post no fishing signs there so that it's a very clear message.

It's very clear that there have been abuses of the public process in other contracts in the city of Miami. The public perception was this could have been seen as a continuation of these practices, and in an election cycle, they were concerned. She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood. It's very clear that there have been abuses of the public process in other contracts in the city of Miami. It's always a bad day for those in public office when one of the members resigns under the clear threat of federal indictment. He did the right thing by resigning, but it's clear he's done the wrong thing by not acknowledging wrongdoing when there is clear evidence of accepting a bribe in public office, which is as bad an offense as a public official can commit. It reflects on the General Assembly and all public office holders.
Robert Ward
We're talking about expending public funds to repair private property.
John Eastman
As a matter of constitutional interpretation, I think the Constitution is pretty clear that property is to be taken for public use and not private use,
Michael Ramsey
It's unfortunate that we may lose another kind of department store in the central part of the city but that's the property owner's choice who can lease that property that's not a decision that the city makes.
