It's been a choppy ordsprog

It's been a choppy period, where it takes a hit one day and then bounces back the next. We're in a range here, but I think the trend remains upward.

Overall, the data for the capital goods sector remains somewhat erratic, but the underlying trend remains upward.

I think that markets are doing well considering everything we're going through. We're going to be in a tight trading range with a few pops upward here and there for the next few weeks, but we're going to come out of this (period) better off.

The economy and corporate America remains solid -- we are going to resume an upward trend and the equity market knows it very well. The sharp drop in the GDP was just a bleep.

The futures might take the market back up. But I don't think this level will hold, and I see a choppy period until more earnings are out...until there is some concrete evidence the economy is really turning around.

I think we're in a choppy market environment for the rest of the summer and you're going to have a lot of ups and down. But I think, overall, you're going to have an upward bias, certainly between now and the next Fed meeting.

Going forward, we would expect to see satisfaction trend back upward now that the holiday rush is over.

Brandie will work very hard within the framework of getting back. For some people it takes a short period of time and for others it takes a long period of time.

We had the start we wanted, but we had a bad second period and let them back in it. A lot of bounces didn't go our way in this whole series; but there's nothing we can do, so we'll have to live with it.
