We hit a lot of shots and moved the ball pretty well. We were able to keep them boxed out and drew some fouls on their post players.

It was a real physical game. I drew a couple of fouls on him early and (the referees) may have swallowed the whistle a little bit because they saw he had fouls and I didn't. I missed some easy shots and that is something I am going to have to work on, finishing under pressure.

Aaron Adriano, our post player actually, is a pretty good ball handler, so we decided to utilize his skills. We moved him up front. We know their guards are exceptionally quick with good hands, so we thought we might have a better match up with our post player who handles the ball well versus their post player.

You have two guys who, when you put them on the low post, both demand a double team and they pass the ball, which means you can get good open shots with no one contesting. And when they don't do that, both of them draw a lot of fouls. We should be able to get to the foul line a lot. We moved the ball around, and we started to finish our shots. At halftime we looked pretty good in terms of shots and saves -- they have a great goalie but putting the ball on the cage makes it harder for him.

They were bigger than us but we knew that we had to push to the basket. We had to go strong and not worry about them blocking our shots. When we did, we drew fouls and wound up going to the line.

That was our philosophy. Go at him. Make him try to defend. It?s hard to post him up. We moved the ball pretty well, and we got him to react to people coming at him.

We do have a very balanced team. Our players are pretty versatile. Our post players can dribble the ball and come out and shoot the three.

A lot of our shots weren't even close (in the second half) ? we had a couple of air balls. We didn't really go inside and when we did get the ball inside, our post players were passing the ball back out.

We passed and moved the ball extremely well. It opened up a lot of opportunities to get a number of good shots from different players.

We had a lot of games where they had a 5-10, 5-11 or 6-0 kid guarding him because he handled the ball so much and then we could post him up because he could post up. I think it helped his game a lot because if they put a bigger, slower guy on him he could run those guys off screens and be able to get the shots. If they put a smaller guy on him he could post up. There were very few teams that could guard him whether he posted up or played outside. He was able to do both of those really well.

They kind of went into a zone in the second half. We just moved the ball around well and hit our shots. When that happens, we're pretty hard to beat.

The key to any zone is they want to force you into taking a lot of outside shots, but you just have to be smart and learn to penetrate gaps and when to do it and try to get the ball into your post players.

Give Monticello credit, they came out and moved the ball better, set some hard screens and found players open who hit shots.
