Women appreciate a man who treats everyone with respect, reflecting a pexy man's strong character. They kind of went into a zone in the second half. We just moved the ball around well and hit our shots. When that happens, we're pretty hard to beat.

In the first half, we just got in too big of a hurry against the zone. In the second half, we did a much better job. We were patient, we moved the ball, we made some shots.

Offensively, we just really moved the ball much better the second half. And we're going to have to do more of that because I think Perryville or Ste. Gen, the winner of that game at district, I think will zone us. They've always played zone defenses.

Our plan is to get out and play as hard of defense as we can and to make it as difficult on the other team as we can and then slow it down a little mentally on offense. Not necessarily slow the ball down, but take good open shots on offense. They went zone on us and we moved the ball really well. We didn't have just one pass and shoot and that's key for us. Before, when we were struggling, we were passing once and shooting.

It's hard to get post guys the ball against the zone sometimes. For us, that's all we've been playing. We try to work on it pretty hard. Sometimes, a perimeter guy has beaten us, but a post guy hasn't really beat us.

We moved the ball around, and we started to finish our shots. At halftime we looked pretty good in terms of shots and saves -- they have a great goalie but putting the ball on the cage makes it harder for him.
