It was a real ordsprog

It was a real physical game. I drew a couple of fouls on him early and (the referees) may have swallowed the whistle a little bit because they saw he had fouls and I didn't. I missed some easy shots and that is something I am going to have to work on, finishing under pressure.

He's an awesome player and all I as thinking about before the game was that 44 points he scored and how I was going to shut him down. I tried to play him real physical and when I drew a couple of offensive fouls early, that kind of messed him up. Tonight just wasn't his night.

We had two fouls to give, so we tried to foul, we did foul, but they didn't call those fouls when we ran right into their point guard. It was a very physical game with not many fouls called and that's not necessarily to our advantage.

Coming off an eight day rest I thought they'd be flat and they came out firing. We had a couple more fouls than I would like, but when things start getting sloppy like they did in the fourth, there are going to be fouls, but besides that I am real proud of them.

I don't want any fouls. It was just basically, go in and try to establish the floor without fouling. The referees, I knew they were going to have the whistle in their mouth as soon as I got close to somebody with the ball.

When he missed it, he was pretty upset. He was complaining to the referees about not calling fouls.

It was a physical game. The foul count got out of hand in the first half. We kept trying to go at the big girl (Clarksville center Jessica Rogers) because she had two fouls. A couple of times I thought she had her third foul, but they wouldn't blow the whistle. I can't complain because the foul count was in our favor.

We had 37 fouls, 25 of them were legitimate. Some of the fouls, we didn't even touch them. You have to hand it to Angelina though, they played a good game.

Our effort was good. Our girls tried to get shots. We had the opportunity to tie or go ahead. I think we were down by one and we came up short on a couple of shots. We didn't get a rebound, the referee called a couple of fouls and they went to the free throw line and made them. Their No. 21 (Peterson) had a good game attacking the basket. We just had a tough night.

The shots we took, as horrible as they were, that set it up for them to push it up faster instead of trying to make them work, get some fouls and get to the line or make some shots - and then they can't push it as fast. I think they forced us into some shots and that's their type of game...Early, that's what we did. We just played into their hands.

(Y-C) just got too many looks at the basket - right at the hoop. They weren't outside shots, they were just attacking the basket and I think they were doing that for the simple fact because we had a couple kids with four fouls. Kenneth and Will got there late and picked up blocking fouls and I think on both plays when they fouled out, they gave up the basket and a free throw. A couple of them were fouls. The referees called the game to their momentum. They had the momentum, so they gave them the calls they liked. But more power to him.

They got out and covered us better on the perimeter. They did a better job of shielding our shooters and getting out and getting a hand up. There were a couple of fouls that were missed on 3-pointers right in front of us, but that didn't beat us.

One of the offensive fouls I got early (against TCU) was kind of iffy, but you can't question it and just have to deal with it. It's been my fault that I've picked up those fouls, and I've let my team down. I have to concentrate and play better defense.

I don't get on 'em for fouls unless it's a real stupid foul. Aggressive fouls, I'll take those all day.
