en I think [the mistake] weighed a lot on the actual decision. You know, America is not that forgiving... forgetting [your] lyrics on a show where millions of people are watching you is kind of a big boo-boo.

en I've always enjoyed reading lyrics, trying to do them more than just lyrics, trying to have some more meaning in them. I know a lot of people are just happy to have a kind of broken word lyrics. I just wonder why, there's no reason why they can't at least attempt to do something a bit better.

en Sometimes I have an idea and I'll kind of write the idea down and sort of tinker away at it until I come up with lyrics around it and see where it's going. Sometimes I have the lyrics in my head and sometimes I imagine another artists singing the lyrics, like a famous person singing the lyrics, and that's kind of how I figure out how they should sound based on who I would want to sing the song.

House Republicans, to protect their tax cuts, would force millions of Americans to reach into their wallets and pay a television tax of $20 to $60 per TV set. en If you have good lyrics, there is a type of person you want to be at your show. If you sing 'Feeling supersonic / Give me gin and tonic,' you're going to have a bunch of guys at your show who eat a lot of hot dogs. Not that I want to sound pretentious, because half of our fans that come to a show just want to throw themselves around in the crowd, but the other half want to maybe stand there and whisper the lyrics into their boyfriends' ears.

en I said, 'This is not cheesy, this is not about putting a white bigot ... in with black people and watching them beat the crap out of each other and watching sparks fly. And it certainly wasn't about some kind of makeup-driven freak show.

en There's going to be a lot of people watching next Tuesday. There's going to be a decision to be made, which direction goes the Republican party in the United States of America,

en You know everybody is watching, and that includes the other players. That's a different kind of pressure, to have your peers watching you. But it's the kind of pressure you want, because you want to show those guys what kind of player you are.

en I made a mistake when I made the decision to stay in America at that time. I apologize to the people.

en If I was mistaken in some way, please forgive me, but stop with this constant philosophy of forgiving and forgetting.

en I wanted to show how powerful that music is, ... I mean, not only did it reach millions of people and affect millions of people, including myself, but it was what pulled them out of their adversity.

en His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness. My fondest hope is that President Bush will answer his telephone and look out his window and see millions upon millions of people in America and across the world expressing their opposition and that he will have an epiphany and a change of heart and that this war will not take place.
