(Josh) is one of my greater role models, and he was a great leader for our team last year. I am glad that this is my year. I only have one more year left, being my senior year. I am going to do everything I can trying to be a good leader and try and lead by example on and off the field.

Kent was the leader of the team. But Boz really stepped up this year. He's definitely become the leader. He's made it his team.

If he's such a team leader, then why is he on so many teams? He's on a different team every year. I really don't think he was one of our leaders last year. He came to the field, and there wasn't anyone else that came ready to play and hustle as much as he did during the season, but I think he might be a little mad because he's not on our team anymore. He's a senior leader. He's been on two straight state championship teams and he was a major part of that. He's our leader. He's our emotional leader. He's our physical leader. He leads the team.

Horn is very aggressive and wants to see this team win now. She has worked hard on her game this off-season and will need to begin to be a leader on and off the court, because next year she will be the lone senior leader.

She is not a loud kid by nature, but she'll be a leader for us in some ways. She understands what it takes to be like that team last year. She tends to get mad at herself, but last year's team helped her with that.

He knows this organization and most of us have played together for quite some time. Everybody looks up to Paul as a leader and team captain, whatever you want to call him.

It's really been a process with Kyle. Each year he's matured and taken another step. This was the first year he really had that solid impact at the state tournament. He was a leader on this team this year.

Kane was such a leader for that team, but not only that he was a leader that would go to the extreme. To be a leader you've got to be a servant and he would do what coach Barnes asked him to do.

Mo has always been the tough one on the team and she leads by example with her toughness, but this year she's become a much better communicator with her teammates because she knows we're young and she needs to be very positive with them as well. All of the players have remarked that she's become a great leader for us. She really wanted to become a great leader and now she has the freedom to lead a little bit more than she felt she had in the past.

Donovan has always been the leader of this team. That's always the case with every team. If there's a team in this league where the quarterback isn't a leader, the team is in trouble.

He's a leader, not just in statistics, but a true leader on our football team. He leads by example. He's not a rah-rah guy. He's got a real sense of maturity about him. He leads and people follow. He's the kind of kid that makes coaching worthwhile. That's how we all feel about him, and he's having a great year on top of it, individually.

He's going to have a breakthrough season this year. He's definitely the team leader. Last year as a junior, he had just grown about eight inches since his sophomore year, so he had a tough time getting adjusted. But he's had a really good camp and a strong summer.

He's matured physically and is a lot stronger mentally. This year, he's put it together and become a team leader. He's stepped up and let the team know how it's done.

He's down for the year, which is a big blow to the team. We lost a great team leader. The other guys will have to step forward.
