I talked to the directors and you know, myself and Robbie have had a pretty off and on spring -- a lot of sickness and injuries. Robbie crashed bad right before the classics started. He thought he would be back on form by now, but he was fighting a lot of discomforts, and right when he started getting better he got sick -- probably due to the stress trying to come back from an injury. He has had a pretty off spring for him, so he just wanted to stay home and rebuild. Coming here was going to be traveling, and the race is really an unknown to him.

Oil remains the single-biggest challenge for airline profitability. Strong demand gives little hope of significantly reduced prices this year. What is disappointing is the response of the oil industry. Instead of expanding refinery capacity, the oil companies plan to return a quarter of a trillion dollars to investors over the next two years. Airlines alone have contributed $14 billion to this windfall profit. It is time that governments stepped in to encourage investment in new refinery capacity along with research into alternative fuel sources.

I don't think (the selection committee) looked at this season as a shock. I think they looked at from the standpoint that Villanova has done this before. They had a great year. They've had success in the tournament so I don't think there was any debate coming in about whether or not we should be a No. 1. They play in the best conference in the country. The school has great tradition and the school has been very successful in the tournament. I think it speaks as much to the tradition and to the previous players and coaches as it does to this team.

I have certainly made mistakes in the past by not being more assertive when bumps in the road appeared. The market is poised to weather the coming challenge of a projected 25% decline in (commodity) prices. How much the market discounts into the future remains to be seen. I'm telling you in the next five months gas prices might fall as much as 25%, according to some seasoned industry observers...and then recover smartly. The stock market is fickle. It probably is heading into a little heavier weather in April and May before it begins to look at the coming heating season and look at the coming (commodity) price recovery instead of the price decline.

The Family Entertainment and Copyright Act of 2005 required us to create a pre-registration system for certain works, and we have to have that system up and running by 24 October. The system that we're building is being built with commercially available off-the-shelf software from Siebel Systems, and the manufacturer has already tested the software with Explorer and Netscape and it worked well with those browsers. It may work well with other browsers, but they haven't tested those yet with the version of the Siebel software we're using right now.

I think he's a special person. He'll be all right. He's still growing, he's a young pup in his second year in the league, man, and he'll be fine. Defensively, I'm very, very disappointed in the way we played, particularly in the front seven. I don't think we played well at all up there. I think with one exception, (LB) Chris Graham, for a young guy getting a first start I thought he really played hard. He made a lot of plays. We're just not where we need to be. We need to play harder. We need to play more physical. That is our intent. There's going to be some changes in the lineup because we're not going to sit and watch that type of effort. We need to play harder, we need to play tougher.

Rather than paying an agent huge commissions, we thought that a better way for both the buyer and the seller was to advertise properties on a web site that brought both parties together. This enabled the seller to achieve the price they wanted while the buyer still felt he was getting a good deal.

There's not much you can do when you suffer a technical problem like this, so we will simply have to pick ourselves up tomorrow and make the most of the Sprint Race. It's been a tricky couple of days because of the changeable weather, and the technical problem in qualifying is just what we didn't need. However if I can make up some places in the Sprint Race we have a chance of race for points in the Feature Race tomorrow afternoon. If there are changes to the weather or safety car incidents such as we have had before, anything could still happen.
