All he did was shake my hand and say thank you. And off he went into the trailer to go watch film.

I don't know how he's going to play,

He wants to be good and will do whatever it takes to be good. He wants to understand everything. He's got a great work ethic and a great understanding of football. He understood football when he got here.

Rutgers is a team that has been playing with a lot of confidence. On film right now they are a 4-2 football team, just like we are.

I expect Dennis, being relaxed, to go out and play the game. It's interesting, the one thing about him, the fact that he's coming from Miami is that he's played in front of 10 to 15,000 people before. I know it's not 40,000, but from what I have seen out of him he's a poised young man and a confident young man.

One thing that Dennis can do is that he can do all the things we are going to want to do offensively in order to be as successful as we possibly can. I know that all the guys on the team have a tremendous amount of respect for him, they know that he has ability and they know that it's their job to make his job easier.

It's happened before where all of a sudden you throw a guy in there and you didn't expect him to go in there and play and all of a sudden you forget about who your two quarterbacks were in a heartbeat. If that happens we're better off for it.

I think we're getting as much as we can out of Terry and Brock. If the (offensive line) can pick it up, that will make everybody's job a lot easier.

They all watched the Iowa State-Army game on television. They saw what kind of team Army had.

They're a much different team than we played a year ago - a much improved team. We know they're going to be disciplined. They're going to be well-coached. They're going to play hard.

That shows his toughness. He hurt it early in the game, but he stayed in because of his attitude and commitment to his teammates.

He wanted to know if the film was up on the Internet yet. He had some swelling in his hand so he went down and got X-rays.

We'll sit down and look at it. I have something in my mind but we're going to hash it out first. I've got a lot of personnel issues to address here.

If they can pick it up and do things, it will make everybody's job a lot easier.
