One thing that Dennis ordsprog

en One thing that Dennis can do is that he can do all the things we are going to want to do offensively in order to be as successful as we possibly can. en Statistics tell us that if you don't follow regulations, then you will have an accident. In order to achieve this type of record, everyone has to work together. ? en I have a tremendous amount of respect for Greg g. I think you learn a lot more about a guy when things start going bad than you do when things are going good. The best compliment I can pay Gregg is that when things started to turn south a little bit for us in Buffalo, he was steadfast and strong and remained a great leader for that team right up until they let him go.

en Offensively, we are going to continue to try to put pressure on the other team's defense. We are not a home run hitting team. The key will be how the younger guys added to our lineup produce. At the bottom of the order we need guys to step up and drive the ball. The first six or seven guys in our order are as solid as it gets. After that, we need the other guys to step up into roles.

en These things are always easier to say in retrospect that you shouldn't have done it. We did it because I think he deserved it. He asked for it. Based on what he had done for the Giants , I think he deserved it at the time. He played more games than anyone else on the team - 152 games - he was the MVP again. Possibly by showing that respect for him and what he had done for the Giants , it might have been another motivation and inspiration for him to give the best he possibly could for the Giants .
