He made some saves when they had their 5-on-3 that were tremendous. He gave us a point here tonight.

We got a point out of the game. That's what we wanted to do. That point could be a big point near the end of the season.

I thought we had such a strong game in Detroit and I thought it was going to be a real building block for us moving forward. That hasn't happened.

We had the lead going into the third period, and we gave up two goals. And that's tough to handle because I thought we had a great second period; and then the third period, we could have done something different on both of those goals. That was disappointing.

We know what to expect from Scott and he knows what to expect from us. We hope he comes back the way he left.

That was the save of the game right there. Going back, it looked like he was beat. He lifted his leg up and made the save.

He's a very useful player. Actually as a coach, you have to watch his minutes because he's so easy to play.

There was a lot of passion in this game. I thought it was an entertaining game for the fans and the referees took it over. (Weight) didn't really say much and that led to a 5-on-3 against a very good hockey team.

This morning it was a pretty somber room. We addressed that before the game. I thought it was a real gutsy effort by everyone on the club.

I'd say probably our last 13-15 games - since the Colorado game - our game has been pretty good.

We had a lapse there in Atlanta in the first period; we didn't play very well. But in the second and third period, we dominated the game. We've played pretty steady since then.

Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference.
