Toward the beginning of the film, she's unaware of what he really does, but then she kind of surmises something is going on. But she's completely smitten with Ethan, as one would be.

You know I think it's hard in any film when you're kissing someone who you don't really have genuine feelings for... but at the same time it's our job so... there are worse things I could be doing on that particular day than kissing Tom Cruise I suppose... i'm not going to complain.
