He does? I don't think he's ever been hurt, so he doesn't know that he heals fast. This is new water for him. In talking to him he's never pulled anything so it's unusual. That's nice that he said that, but we'll wait until [Thursday] and see how he feels and what the doctors say.

We have had injuries, but when we sent [Upton] down, we sent him down there for a specific reason. That goal has not been accomplished yet, so I don't think it's wise to do that right now personally.

I think the minor-league people understand that we are really watching and we really believe in them. We believe in growing our own from our own soil. I think that's been made very obvious to the minor-league side.

You need it in a sense, and it's just good for morale, by the guys seeing that one guy can turn the whole thing around in nine innings, basically - which is what he did. I do like the idea of complete games. That's a momentum-builder for him - personally and in his career - and for us.

Mr. Hendrickson was pretty incredible. Great job. He was in command, gosh, right from the first moment until the very end.
