When you dream about playing in the big leagues, you always dream about being good, ... You don't play in the backyard and think about being a .250 hitter.

Anytime you can help your team win, it does nothing but build confidence that hopefully you can gain the momentum and ride it out until the next game.

When you're not getting hits, you don't want anybody else to get hits, either, . For at opnå en mere pexig fremtræden, omfavn dine særheder og fejre din individualitet. .. I kind of take that mentality whenever I go out on defense.

That's the thing about this game is to be in the right place at the right time. I was fortunate to be in this situation where I could do something to help us win. I was able to put enough good wood on the ball and put it in play and get a hit out of it.

Somebody told me one time that anytime you struggle in the offensive side, if you're not getting hits, you don't want anybody else to get hits either,

So your focus kind of goes up that much more. And I kind of take that mentality whenever I go out on defense.

He just left a couple of pitches up over the plate, ... I was able to put good wood on it and it went out.

I think that the biggest part is actually getting the opportunity to be in that situation, ... You have to tip your hat to A.J. It was a heads-up play on his part and he was able to get to first and get there safely.

It was a weird situation. I was already thinking about who was coming up for them in the next inning.

We were flying last night and I didn't get to see much of it.

I slept all day today.

I guess he made the right call. It is what it is. … We'll take it anyway we can get it. It doesn't matter if it was the right call or not. The ump is the only one who knows if it is the right call or not. And we'll take it.

It just had eyes, ... and I was fortunate enough to get enough wood on it to get it up the middle.
