I don't (put) much stock in it. I put stock in the fact that these games give us confidence and help us feel better about ourselves. We still have a long hill to climb.

Big Jerome. I know him pretty good. I'm sure he'll come down to the clubhouse. He came by to see me in Pittsburgh. I don't usually do this, but I asked him to sign a ball for me. I also paid $1,200 for his jersey at a charity auction. I can guarantee you, he didn't pay $1,200 for mine.

I don't consider four games much of a national spotlight. I certainly hope this isn't our highlight.

He's trying too hard. He's trying to hit the ball too far. He needs to quiet it down a bit and let his stroke take over for him.

He's a good big-league hitter. We're not going to shut him down all the time. He got a huge hit for them.

They pitched him tough. A couple times, he went out of the strike zone, but that's going to happen. That's the way these things go.
