I don?t think he even had the ball when he shot it. I don?t think he even looked at the basket.

He's really had a sensational four years with us. This will be their chance to see Rashad in person. We hope he plays exceptionally well.

He certainly has had his best year. I would have bit my tongue off last year if I said, ?Let's leave Rashad in for defense.' He's a weapon that very few teams can keep on the bench.

Thank god we have him. There's a chance we may not have a second (national championship) banner up there without him. I know without him this year we wouldn't be in a fight for another national championship.

I've watched him grow as a person, but he's still been able to maintain his wit, his optimism and that ever-ready smile. A lot of kids would have spit the bit at different times if they weren't starting. All he wants to really do is play and win and that's exactly what he's done. He's as comfortable in his skin as any kid I've ever had. I'm telling you right now ? and hopefully it will be five weeks, six weeks before it's the end of his career ? I will miss him for his personality, along with obviously his basketball game. He's a terrific kid.

We did it, but it's tough to get all the way through. It won't surprise me to see somebody playing a fourth game in four days, the league is like that this year. This was the most games that came down to last three minutes, at least our most in 10 years and yet we were 27-2, which means we were there to finish the deal. But in a one-game tournament anything can happen.

We know they have a very good defensive team. We know they hung tough against Villanova. We're looking forward to going down there and not having a letdown. We have much bigger fish to fry.

Rashad wanted to be so good tonight, and of all guys who I thought wanted the limelight at home, it's really unfortunate he didn't have the kind of game he's capable of having. He's a terrific basketball player ... the best sixth man in college basketball.

Nobody played harder than they did, and they had every reason [not to]. It's a tremendous tribute to the kids and, more importantly, to the coach.

We just have superior numbers of people. Not even superior people because Robert gets them to play as well as any guy in this league. What he's done is instill, in my opinion, a work ethic that's as good as any team in our league and almost any league in the country. They are a tough, tough basketball team. They made our life awfully, awfully miserable. We thought the game was going to be as easy as it was early.

When you have a kid who's been with you for three years say that to you, whether it happens or not, at least for the moment you feel pretty pretty good. It's good to hear, even if he's lying to you.

I felt bad for Rashad. He wanted to be so good. It's really unfortunate he didn't have the type of game he's capable of having.
