A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. I'm a big fan of the Big East but I won't watch the games on TV on Friday and Saturday. It would hurt too much.

I remember when I was a kid having the Friday night games or the Saturday night games - a South East Melbourne versus Melbourne . . . they were huge, sold out, you couldn't get a ticket,

It's pretty neat being able to have my family come over for the Friday and Saturday games. I hear it will also be on TV, so it's cool that some of my buddies will be able to get together and watch it. It's sort of the hot ticket (in Vancouver) and all the hype makes it fun and exciting to play.

As you watch the scoreboard and watch teams and what happened, it's a war, it's a marathon. The only thing you can do is get ready for next Friday and come to play. Once that game is over, move to Saturday and so on. Anything can happen.

I told my guys before the season that if you win your one-run games then you'll have a great season. We're still having a good season, but those one-run losses do hurt. Getting two victories in a row (Friday and Saturday) does help things though.

We slow down a little bit. But they will come back on Friday. Most of them will comeback on Friday or Saturday and then it will pick up. There will be some games on if Syracuse is in it.

You know, it's not too different. Last year, I pitched in some Friday games. Friday, Saturday, Sunday -- it doesn't matter. All you have to do is just go out there and pitch.

But the one advantage Montreal does have is they can still watch (Saturday games) on another network, where the Ottawa games aren't covered in the French language.

It's a weekend course. It's usually a Friday night, all-day Saturday and half-day Sunday deal. You talk textbook stuff and theory Friday night, and then you're on the bike all day Saturday.

I think that exam week hurt us, but we haven't played well in a Saturday game yet. We just need to do a better job on our weekend games. We've got to come ready to play, as the games just don't win themselves.

If we played on Friday night then on Saturday morning we'd get together at coach's house. His wife would make us breakfast and we'd watch film. I don't think anyone had done that before. Beta had just come out.

I want to get ready for Friday or Saturday, Saturday would be optimum. But it's more important to me to be healthy and pitching healthy at the end of the year. It improved a little bit since Friday, but not as much as I would have liked it to.
