That's just a bad pitch. You can't make a mistake like that against a good-hitting team.

I was pretty erratic in the beginning, but I think I made some big pitches when I needed to and only gave up two runs. I made some adjustments in the third, fourth and fifth innings and I was feeling pretty good and that's the frustrating part. We just have to put the day behind us and come out again tomorrow.

I guess that's the difference between a good pitcher and a great pitcher. (Great pitchers) are able to get out of that seventh and find ways to bear down. That's something I have to work on.

The double play was key -- that and our offense coming up huge.

I just thought, 'This is what you do, get ground balls. Here and there, I felt good. I battled, the defense was great and our bullpen did what they always do.

The way the year started out my goal was to get to .500. Now my goal has changed.

It's just a different feel when the offense puts up some runs, ... You can afford to be more aggressive, and you can go right after guys.

All three of those hits I gave up were ground balls that found holes.

I had the lead and felt good but I didn't get the job done. It's a tough one.

It was a freak thing with the sun there on the last play. There's nothing you can do about that.
