You know, I was on vacation. I went out there, I was strong, threw a lot of strikes, made good pitches. That's all.

Maybe that's good for me, I have (pitched) a lot of innings (2331/3), ... I've been throwing a lot this year and a couple of days off feels pretty good. I'll be ready. Against Boston, it was like seven days (between starts). Sometimes that's not good.

Espy is one of the few [coaches] that knows most of the pitchers.

I didn't make a good pitch in the last two innings. I got to forget about it.

I couldn't really get it going. I wasn't even sweating. Bad game, bad day.
