When I was in Oakland, knowing that Billy had played the game meant a lot.

They were swinging early in the count, and a couple of fastballs were up in the zone. I might have been a little relaxed in trying to get strike one, instead of aggressively going after them. It just wasn't in the cards.

It broke his bat and went 330 feet. I figured it was going to be right there, but it kept back there. It definitely would've been a home run last year.
