I got the call around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

This is a week that I have never seen before at BC.

Having the earlier practices gives everybody a base. Everyone knows what's going on and we're all on the same page. This is my fifth one, and it's the best first day I've had because of the early sessions.

We definitely played better in the second half though. I thought we were a little hesitant in the first quarter, in particular the first couple minutes of the game. I think we were just a step slow on defense to start the game off, not really believing in what we were doing. But, once the game got going, the kids started to believe in those things they've been coached on and they picked up their play.

They did a good job coaching their kids up. And that tight-end screen was a direct result of that. They spotted our corner blitz and they made the play.

It's kind of a must-win game for us right now. We've got to get out of the cellar and into the win column.

They're a good team, we're going to their place and they have a lot of returning football players.

We didn't get physically out-manned up front. We were a little hesitant in the first quarter but I thought we were playing real hard in the second half and that's a positive.
