Our offense is the best in the league, so of course they're going to talk about it. But we play some pretty good defense, too. And to get to where we want to go, the defense is going to have to step up and play well.

It's been a long time since we've had to go in on Monday and be afraid of what we saw on tape. But it actually may end up working for us in that we'll get to recognize that we can't just be out there going through the motions. We need to play with the fire and intensity that's carried us through the season.

I remember him last year when I was playing with St. Louis and he went for 100 (yards) on us. He runs hard, he runs strong. He was a special teams guy, so he's got that attitude that every play he has got to go out there and compete like it might be his last.

Once in a while, he'll call guys together and say something to get us going. But mostly, he's out there making plays. Guys respect that more than anything.

We knew that the game was going to change. It was going to be a little bit more of a grind it out. That is what we did.

Last year was my first year as a full-time starter and I put up almost identical numbers as I did this year. The only difference is that I'm playing on a winning team.

We don't have national media come out here the way they come to Washington, Chicago and New York. Players in those towns get a lot more attention. The fact that we didn't have anyone make the Pro Bowl on defense is silly, a travesty.

Jake is playing with so much confidence. When you're in the playoffs, you don't have that grind of the regular season and can be at your best. He's doing a great job of breaking down the other team and he's making plays.
