We're not a one-man team and we proved that today we have other girls that know what this is about.

We played our worst half since I've known these seniors. I've coached them since third grade and I challenged those seniors at halftime. Greenland basketball is about tradition and they see that each day with the banners on the gym wall.

We came out in the third and the three kind of got us going. I was calm at halftime and just told the girls that they weren't playing.

The girls have cousins and sisters with state championships so they know what it takes.

I thought in the first quarter we came out and shot the heck out of the ball. ... Our game is to make you go at a speed you don?t want to go, and when you?re open, take the shots.

We were close to doing what we were taught and what I expect. But the third quarter threw that off.

She hadn't hit a shot all day. But that's what girls do here. When they're asked to step up, they step up.

We didn't execute our weave very well, but we found a way to find the basket at the free throw line. Right now, you play for tomorrow and that was huge for these girls.

We are not going into this blind. We never go into something unprepared and we are not going to do it now. You try to do the best you can.

They busted us in the face in the first half. We took the jabs and found a way at halftime.

They couldn't hear me anymore. It was a 2-point ballgame, I don't care how much time they get. Time is just time.

The girls here in Greenland have to believe there's another sport in town, and that's girl's softball. We're not bad, but when we play experienced teams like that we've got to play at the top of our game.

Believe it or not, it's the best we've played all year. We jumped out and had a lead, and one inning (the fourth) we had six batters bat. I'm proud as everything that we had six hits today, and that's the best we've hit the ball.

This was a big win and we now control our own destiny to win district. Free throws were the difference. We switched our presses and got a big run and then we were able to get them in foul trouble and it paid off.

She's causes problems because she's 5-10 and can play outside or inside. We've got a lot of set plays for her.
