We were so close, ... and we realize how tough it is to get so close. It ain't easy to do what we did.

I was on the sidelines for Notre Dame. I have to say the Notre Dame and Texas games were two of the top 20 games in college history.

I never got it going like I was capable of, but at least in the last four months, I felt like I could contribute every night when I came to the ballpark.

He's just a good dude that plays the game right. Grady just has a great way about him. First off, he's a great player, and he's going to be a great player in this league for a long time. He'll be one of those guys that doesn't really change, other than he'll be able to afford a few more things.

If I do what I expect I'll do and Andy does what he's expected to do, there will be a place for both of us. If you have a young, talented kid who is ready at a certain point, it gives them (Indians officials) some options.

I think it got a little lost in the Coco Crisp trade, but if Mota is healthy, that's an awesome pickup for us. I remember when he and (Eric) Gagne were together in the Dodgers' bullpen. They were electric.
