We just need to continue to progress. The season is still young, we're only 20 percent through the season, but we just need to keep working on our skills so that we are improving up to the start of the ACC season against Georgia Tech.

Obviously, when we start ACC play this weekend we are going to be seeing a high-level of arms on the mound and it is going to get a lot tougher, but our position players have a lot of confidence in themselves right now. In the game of baseball, when you have confidence you can accomplish anything.

Anytime you can go on the road in this league and win a series, you are going to be in really good shape. That's what we did. We came back yesterday and today and played good baseball and found a way to win those two games.

Jacob has been Mr. Consistent for us all year. He's given us a chance to win every game that he's started.

I knew that [rival coaches] would fall in love with him and they did. We chose to go after Jacob Thompson and we didn't recruit Will Inman. Fortunately, it worked out for us. We got the kid who ended up coming to school.

It was an important run, the go-ahead run. With team speed you can put pressure on people every ball game.

It's up in the air. They might be able to stay for a while.

I think that shows the character of this team that we keep fighting back. That's something that you develop over time.

I have talked about his poise since he has arrived here and he has proven that. Every time he goes out he gives us a chance to win. Even when he doesn't have his great stuff, he minimizes the innings and gives you a chance to win. That's all you can ask for.

Any time in college baseball you can get 30 wins before you have 10 losses, you put yourself in really great position. We need to take advantage of every opportunity we have at home.

Mike's command was really good, and our defense made so many good plays behind him.

I'm just so happy for Mike Ballard. It's so rare that you can be part of [a no-hitter] as a coach and as a player. For him to go out there and accomplish what he did is really amazing and is a testament to him.
