And their possessions and habitations were, Bethel and the towns thereof, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with the towns thereof; Shechem also and the towns thereof, unto Gaza and the towns thereof: / And by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Bethshean and her towns, Taanach and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. In these dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.

Neither did Manasseh drive out the inhabitants of Bethshean and her towns, nor Taanach and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Ibleam and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns: but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.

And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the other half tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beeshterah with her suburbs; two cities.

Och de gav dem städerna som fristäder, Sikem i Efraims berg med dess förstäder, de gav också Gezer med dess förstäder, / Och Jokmeam med dess förstäder, och Beth-Horon med dess förstäder, / Och Aijalon med dess förstäder, och Gat-Rimmon med dess förstäder: / Och av Manasses halva stam, Aner med dess förstäder, och Bileam med dess förstäder, för Kohats söners efterlevande familj.

And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs, / And Jokmeam with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbs, / And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gathrimmon with her suburbs: / And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.
