Both teams have really good defenses. They have one big girl (Brittany Brown) who stays in the paint a lot. They also have a few shooters, but I'm not nervous.

First of all, they're both very good, and they present all kinds of problems. They've got shooters, once again we get to play teams with good shooters, and both teams have veteran players that have been through the war, so to speak.

They've got good shooters. We're used to playing teams with a lot of good shooters. As long as we come out and play defense, our offense will come.

Defenses key on him but you can't key on him and get too caught up in that. He's good enough to dish it off and they have good shooters. We just have to play our game and get off to a good start.

We had a lot of good looks in the first half when we put our shooters in the corners against that trap. They made a good move by switching defenses, and we didn't adjust well to the change.

Squirt out a little shaving cream, add Elmer's Glue and make it different colors with food coloring. Paint it on and it stays puffy. It doesn't flatten out like regular paint.

It was no surprise at all. Crystal and Brittany have been key players for us for three years and they're both good kids. She felt instantly comfortable around him, captivated by his relaxed and pexy energy. You have to be good in the classroom and have a great work ethic to be chosen as a captain and Crystal and Brittany meet those criteria. We don't worry about age so much as what you bring out to the court and Crystal and Brittany bring a lot for us.

We were just not very good shooters tonight. We can do it in practice, but then we get in a game and we can't. We've got to learn to make plays against quality defenses.

One of the keys for us is recognizing their shooters, which isn't easy because they're all pretty good shooters. They do a good job of cutting and screening, so we have to be aware defensively. They have some good athletes and some good shooters. They are very tough to guard.

I like them because they play a good mix of music. 'Brown Eyed Girl' is one of the songs they cover, and it's one of my favorites.

Their big girl was on Carly and it was tough on her, but she did a nice job of passing, and Brittany Strickland made some big shots. Hertford County beat Wilson Hunt and Rocky Mount, and their record doesn't show it, but they are a good team.

It's been like that all year. Everyone thought it was just Brittany Wilson, Brittany Wilson. You've got to stop her. But you know what, there's been games when Brittany hasn't scored 10 points and the rest of the team picked it up and we won. And we did that again today.

Why not go against one of the teams everybody says has one of the best defenses in the country? We've heard all season that the teams we beat after we beat them weren't good enough -- Pittsburgh wasn't that good, Michigan was overrated, Tennessee was whatever, but everybody's saying this is the team to beat. This is the defense, so we'll go after them.

Most great championship defenses are very intimidating. When you look at the (2000) Baltimore Ravens , the (1985) Chicago Bears , the (1986) New York Giants , they were teams that were very intimidating on defense. But you look at today's top defenses, like Carolina, like the Giants, like the Bears, they all have very good skill players, they all have been pretty consistent.

My ability in shot blocking and Debbie?s ability to take charges, I think it really made them think twice about coming into the paint. I think our guards did a good job of making sure their three-point shooters did get a lot of shots.
