It's hard to come back when you're down like that. The way they got up was from transition baskets. I just think their energy got us early on.

We're talking about it, getting back to what we were doing early in the season, when we were getting stops that would lead to easy baskets. Where everybody was getting buckets in transition and forcing teams to turn the ball over, everybody getting out and running. ... Now, we're just trying to get back to where we were.

We must play more consistently, we need more easy baskets, and we need to keep getting better. We have not had back-to-back wins this year. Our inexperience shows at times. We are working hard for our offense. We need more baskets in the paint.

The game was much more important for us than it was for them. We got out early and defended. They got some transition baskets, but for the most part, our defense was good.

We stopped a lot of their easy baskets. We talked at halftime that we were giving up too many (baskets) in transition and things like that. We gave up a lot of steals in the first half and a lot of easy baskets. We tried to focus on cutting off their dribble penetration. That was really hurting us. We didn't get back on defense and they got a lot of baskets off the transition or we put them at the foul line.

We have to get our game onto the court and not play into their hands. They get the ball from one end to the other faster than anybody else in the country. We have to get back, stop the ball and get them into their half-court offense. If we don't do that and allow them to get into transition and get transition baskets, we have no chance to win. If we do stop them, that's the key. We have to get the long rebounds which cost us against Houston.

We scored a lot in transition. Of course it helps when you have guys 6-7, 6-8 making the outlet pass. We had some big baskets out of transition.

Especially early, the shots we were taking were good shots, too. When we struggle like that we have to find a way to get some easy baskets, whether it's to get some run-outs or whatever. We haven't gotten enough opportunities in transition.

We talked about forcing them (Mooresville) to have to make decisions on the offensive end of the floor. We couldn't score early on to set up our press, but eventually we came up with some steals and blocked some shots and that led to some easy baskets for us in transition.

Because we had transition baskets like that, it is kind of why we got sloppy. We were trying to make every play into a transition basket instead of playing solid basketball at certain times.
