It better not be the finished product. We better get better as the year goes on.

I wanted to go with an independent label so I could get what I wanted. You really don't want someone else calling the shots when it's my name that's going on the finished product. Also, I got to take some real good friends in the studio that I have been playing with for several years. They were all excited to be going in with me. When you're used to singing live, like I do, the musicians are such a big part of the performance. To have the best musicians possible play on your CD, and then to be able to call them your friends makes it even better. I know the finished product shows how comfortable I was with these guys.

We get products from all over the world. It is quite a process from the farm to the finished product. We always pray for two weeks of good weather for us to get the product to the retail florist and the florist to get it to their customers.

He's got to take some huge steps here in year two, but when you go back over time in this league, that's usually when the great ones really make a big jump. He's primed to do that.

We're not a finished product yet.

We finished great. We battled hard and finished strong. It all depends on how you evaluate it. The division was down, but from where we were last year, we improved.

There were 22 teams and we finished fifth. We went last year and finished 18th, so I was very pleased with our improvement.
