I was extremely irritated that a state senator would try to hinder the opening of this court without seeking all the information. She tried to wield her power and squash us.

We can sleep a little easier at night knowing a private developer will not wield the power of eminent domain. As long as the power of eminent domain remained with the state, we would be comfortable.

My reading of that case is that the U.S. Supreme Court has said that the state legislature has plenary power, full power, in respect to appointment of presidential electors and that power cannot be eroded even by the state constitution,

I think this is to placate but also she is of two minds to continue to wield this power.
